Heading to Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT)
Well as of Thursday the 26th I became admitted to OIT. This college here locally is a 4 year college they are well known and it feels good to be attending what I would deem real college lol. For me community college was relatively easy for me, I maintained a great gpa and left with A's and B's. But with college for my Bachelor's degree is going to be so much harder but I feel with my skills and knowledge and family and friends I will get through.

Being admitted to OIT happened super fast. On Wednesday, my friend Sonya convinced me to go down there even though I had called and they told me that I couldn't be admitted. So we drove down there and then some super secretive things happened... we were told I needed my transcripts from KCC and that it would take three days unless we could get a paper copy and get it back to her that night. So we hauled ass across town to KCC and when we got there my girl new someone in student services so we told her our dilemma she informed us they had to submit it too texas and then they print it back and send it electronically. She said to give her a half an hour at this point we are at 4:15 the OIT offices closed at 5. At 4:45 we got my transcripts and I told my friend not to worry about it I would just take it in tomorrow. But she said no we'll hurry and try even if we can't we have to try to get up there. We made it at 4:57, I ran my fat butt into that building and I got my transcripts turned in. The lady then told me to call the next day in the late afternoon. To my surprise she called me the next day at 9:00 am and told me that I had been admitted and could come to the school for their Road event. I got there at 9:30, I had a math assessment though I don't think I needed it since my Math 111 will transfer over. I saw the wrong advisor because as you can see in the photo they have my major as Biology - Health Services but it is actually Health Care Management - Admin Specialty So then I did get with the right advisor and got scheduled for all my classes which include Sociology 204, Econ - Microeconomics, Anatomy and Physiology, and History of Archaeology.
I am excited, nervous, anxious, and happy to be going back to school.
I am hoping to blog and keep track of all that I am doing with my college career.
