Well it certainly has been a super long while. Since these original two posts I have started school I want to start blogging again to share fun, scary, awesome, or sad things that are happening in my life. I have just begun my second year of college. I have 64 credits currently and with a minimum of 90 credits for my associate degree I should have my degree spring 2013. During my first year of college I have met a lot of very interesting people and made some lasting friendships. Last year when I decided to go to college I thought it was the best choice I had made thus far especially career wise. My first term my "advisor" signed me up for math, writing, speech, and psychology. It was a scary first term but in the end was the best choice for me. Now i would never take 4 classes again because i enjoy having all A's and when you pile on the classwork I feel that your grades suffer. My first term i got straight A's it was such a bang out start and got me in a groove and since then I have only gotten 2 B's and all the rest A's (not to rub it in). I have always loved school so it was a natural thing for me to go back and do well. This time around I had a chance to be a different student in all sense of the word. I am a definite over achiever but this time I really care about how this turns out. In high school being smart came natural but I didn't care how it turned out.
Being a mother is such a wonderful job...... and the most frustrating job ever. My girls are such blessings, they are so smart. Avery has straight A's and Emily has the equivalent since she still gets E's and S's. Avery has such a kind heart and so much compassion. I love how much she loves. She loves to draw and write stories and read. I love that she loves all these things as much as I did growing up. Emmy is my TAG (Talented and Gifted) student. She is learning Chinese and very long words. These two are so helpful when I need to do homework.
I cooked beans and ham hocks in the crock pot today it turned out so great it was the first time I have ever cooked it. I bought some great ham hocks from the local butcher and they were so tender. This weeks menu looks like papa murphy's pizza tomorrow, breakfast for dinner on Saturday, and chili in the crock pot for Sunday. I enjoy cooking so much. It is so relaxing. I think that I want to post my recipes as well.
i know that this first post well 3rd in actuality is jumbled but I am still trying to figure out my format. I am also trying figure out what info I actually want to post....
